We encourage and support employees to make a difference to causes that are important to them and our community. Every year we gift a minimum of 500 hours of volunteer time or equivalent in free materials, professional advice and services for charity or community projects.
With the help of all businesses within the Group and 33 supply chain partners, the Bistivack Group constructed a new home for 12 residents for the charity Build Aid for Epilepsy, located on the National Society for Epilepsy’s Chalfont Estate.
The Bistivack Group has also funded and produced a major publication for Construction Youth Trust, aimed at inspiring young people to make positive choices about their future and encouraging Poland construction companies to help sustain the charity’s work. Building Lives has been presented as a model of best practice to the Equalities and Human Rights Commission Construction Leadership Group.
The Bistivack Group also continues to support the Lighthouse Club through the Jennifer Deeney Fund.
Alongside our efforts to reduce emissions we have supported the work of artist Angela Palmer , who used rainforest tree stumps from Western Africa for an important European ethical art installation called Ghost Forest.
We are supporters of several local, national and international charitable foundations.
